Venky's Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum

Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum is the name of the movie for which Venkatesh is the hero. This movie is going to start its shooting from October. This is going to be yet another comedy and family entertainer in Venky’s style.

Kriss alias Radhakrishna of Gamyam fame is going to direct this Ventakesh and Trisha starrer. Ashwini Dutt is going to produce this movie on Vyjayanthi Movies banner and Suresh Babu is going to present it on Suresh Productions banner.

Venkatesh, Anushka and Mamtha Mohan Das starrer Chintakayal Ravi finished its shooting part and is getting ready for October 1st release.

Clash between Chiranjeevi fans and Mahesh Babu fans in Vizag

Megastar Chiranjeevi birthday bash in Vizag led to a clash between Chiranjeevi fans and Mahesh Babu fans. This clash in turn led to an injury of local Chiru fan who was later admitted to a near-by hospital.

This mishap happened when Chiranjeevi fans reached Prasad gardens in Vizag to celebrate their matniee idol’s birthday and allegedly pulled out the cut-out of Mahesh Babu. This irked Mahesh Babu fans and they reached the spot and started a fight which led to injury of a Chiru fan called Bujji. He was rushed to the nearby hospital. Few local congress leaders visited him.

Birthday wishes to Chiranjeevi

“Star Star …… Megastar Star”…. Megastar turned politician Chiranjeevi is celebrating his 53rd birthday today. This day will be marked in the history of telugu cinema and politics because this will be the last birthday for him in film industry and it will be first birthday for him as politician.

Parvathi Melton main heroine for Mahesh Babu

Parvathi Melton who started her telugu cinema career with Vennela film went on to do many insignifcant roles and movies which didnt give her the necessary success. Later she was selected as second heroine for Pawan Kalyan by Trivikram Srinivas for his Jalsa movie. This started her upscale towards success.

Parvathi Melton is now selected as the main heroine for Mahesh Babu in his next movie Varudu which is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas himself. After chasing for heroines like Deepika Padukone, Ileana and Priyanka Chopra, the makers of Varudu movie settled with Parvathi Melton as the main heroine in this two heroine movie.

Parvathi and Mahesh had a photo shoot together and the Melton girl was accepted and was selected as the main heroine by the entire team of Varudu. The movie is going to start its regular shooting from 3rd of September.

Shiva Balaji engagement with Madhumita

Hero Shiva Balaji who shot to fame as the second hero in Arya is getting married to his long lasting love and actresses Madhumita alias Swapna Madhuri. They both were engaged yesterday in a function held at Hotel Golkonda, Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occassion, Shiva Balaji said that they both fell in love after acting in a tamil film and both the families accepted for their proposal. He also said that the marriage will take place soon after both complete their on-going movie projects.

Salute has released with 700 prints

A lot has been written on Vishal’s forthcoming Salute. Vishal is now seen as one of the top upcoming stars in the Tamil Filmdom and now he is hoping to firm up his position in Tollywood with this film. Vishal’s brother and producer Vikram Krishna is meticulously planning the film’s release in a grand way.
With high expectations and the pre-publicity blitzkrieg, he hopes that the film would take huge openings. Already 700 prints for both Tamil and Telugu versions are earmarked. This is the highest number of prints for a young hero in South India and also a record.

Shraddha Kapoor opposite Nagchaithanya

Shraddha Kapoor, is another girl from Kapoor family Mumbai. She is the daughter of Bollywood Villain comedian Shakthi Kapoor.
Nagarajuna is said have impressed with the beauty & portfolio of Shradda Kapoor immediately accepted her to rope opposite Nagchaithanya.

Allu Arjun's Aarya 2 started

Allu Arjun's Aarya 2 started yesterday at Rama Naidu studios here in Hyderabad. Ram Charan Tej attended the function as chief guest. Director Sukumar, who directed Aarya is directing this film. Kajal and Shradda Aarya will play lead lady roles opposite Allu Arjun in this film.

Director Sukumar said that there will not be any similarities between Aarya 2 and Aarya except the characters of Aarya, Geetha and Ajay. The producers said that the regular shooting of this flick will be held from 22nd August and they ware planning to finish the film in a month long single schedule. Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, Director Bhaskhar, Rana etc graced the occasion.

Attractive Akshaya, the granddaughter of yesteryear's actress Chayadevi, after proving her mettle in Tamil films is now looking for a break in Telugu films. "I want to act and dance with superstars like NTR Jr and Mahesh Babu besides others," announces the pretty girl who claims to have declined a few Telugu offers. "My grandma was very popular in Telugu movies and was known for her negative roles, especially as a scheming mother-in-law," informs the dusky gal.

It was not very long ago that we told you of how Vijayalakshmi replaced Ileana as heroine in Soundarya Rajinikanth's Sultan. Now, the latest is that Ramya, a young, upcoming actress will play a significant supporting role in the Rajinikanth-animated Sultan. Ramya makes her debut in the Telugu comedy, City Life, which is about a road side Romeo who falls in love with her.
Ramya informed the media that she was thrilled to be associated with the Superstar. Rajinikanth himself was in Hyderabad not too long ago shooting a song sequence for Sultan at the Annapoorna Studios.

Charmy imitating Pawan Kalyan

Cosmos Entertainment banner is making a bilingual film titled "16 – days" with charming girl Charmy in the lead role. The young director Prabhu Salman is directing the film. P Mahesh Babu and D Nageswar Rao are producing the film.

The title‘s logo inauguration function was held on 2nd June at Annapurna,s 7 acres studio, Hyderabad. Currently a song is picturing on Charmy and Russian Dancers. This song is choreographing by Chinni Prakash.

Speaking on this, Charmy said that "my character name in the film is Angel. The story revolves around the 16 days time span. I like the song lyrics given by Bhaskar Bhatla which is currently picturing. I watched many CD‘s of Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja, for which am imitating their voice in the movie.

On this occasion senior most choreographer Chinni said that "My career started in 17s. Later became busy in the field and shifted to Bollywood. Even though busy, accepted to choreograph this song and it is pictured in Hollywood style. I am sure it will be a best song.

Director said that "Heroine role have various dimensions and very interesting character in the film. The song which is currently picturing is filming at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad.

Mahesh to hit three in a row

It is disclosed by the father of Mahesh Babu that the hero would do three films in a row as against one film per year as known earlier.

First one will be from Trivikram Srinivas as titled Varadu.This is expected to be launched at any time in August.

Next one will start at the end of 2008 with a movie by Gowtham Menon in Tamil and Telugu under UTV banner with Mahesh sister Manjula as Executive producer.

The third one is by Puri Jagannath launched in 2009 with big dimension by producing in three languages Telugu, Tamil and Hindi along with Soundarya Rajnikant and Warner Brothers.
