Ram Charan Tej Magadheera release postponed
Ram Charan Tej latest movie Magadheera which was to release in April is postponed until after general elections in May. Producer Allu Arvind who is producing Magadheera movie felt that it is better to postpone the movie because the concentration of entire Andhra Pradesh is on state politics and not on any other thing. In order to get the required returns and also create an effect on box-office, Allu Arvind felt better to postpone the movie till the completion of elections.

NTR MLA launch in May
Ntr next movie MLA will be launched in the month of May. The shooting of Ntr MLA - Manchi Lakshanaalu vunna Abbai will start from the month of May. Nata kireeti Rajendra Prasad will be playing the role of Ntr father in the movie. Harish Shankar who earlier directed Shock with Ravi Teja as hero is directing this film and Nallamalupu Bujji is producing the film.

Ananda Tandavam music launch
The telugu vrsion of Tamanna’s bi-lingual movie Ananda Tandavam had its audio release yesterday at a function held in Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. Director KS Rama Rao, lady director Jaya, Samudra and Bhemaneni Srinivas Rao were the guests who attended the audio release function along with the cast and crew of Anandatandavam.
KS Rama Rao released the audio cd of Ananda Tandavam movie and handed over the copies to all the other guests on the stage. The function went on well and ended on a happy note.

Why has Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu promised distribution of colour televisions to the poor as part of his manifesto?
Well, the answer has come from TD’s latest star campaigner Junior NTR, during his road shows in Srikakulam district on Friday. “You people get tired after day long hectic work. And you need some entertainment to relax. That is why, our party has promised to give you colour televisions. You can watch Anna Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s films; you can enjoy Babai Balakrishna’s blockbusters. And you can also enjoy watching Junior NTR’s films,” he said, amidst loud cheers from crowds.
He further asked when rich people can have TV sets, one in drawing room, one more in bedroom and another in bathroom, why can’t the poor have one TV at their home. Are you convinced with this argument, sir?
Worst Phase In 2009 Tollywood So Far
Slated to be the next best industry after Bollywood, the Tollywood circuit has always been the best bet for many aspiring actors and they come up with big budget ventures. However, things have not been that bright in the Telugu camp as they have been ailing with a spate of successive flops.
So it was with a very positive anticipation that the entire camp was looking forward to this year as some promising films were in the pipeline. However, most of them have turned out to be duds at the box office and out of all the movies that have arrived; only ‘Arundhati’ has registered a thumping hit.
Though it has been three months since the year has passed, the graphs have not been that encouraging and the senior members of the industry are now keeping their fingers crossed to see how the summer season will fare since a horde of big budget movies are in the fray. Well about 20 films are in line for this summer.

The media war in Andhra Pradesh displays the ugly side these days. Everyone knows certain facts about corruption and the readers take only such facts and are not prepared to buy the lies of the media. The media has its own interest and own political affiliations and every news report published in the papers today is in tune with these interests.
The other day, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, gave a strong reply to Eenadu on the series of reports published by Eenadu against him. Two days later, today, Eenadu came out with its reply in Encounter.
Besides answering the questions raised by Jagan in his front page letter, the Eenadu’s Pencounter resorted to verbal abuse and tried to brand YS and Jagan as factionists, while projecting Eenadu and Ramoji Rao as the real democratic and saviours of Andhra Pradesh.
Be it criticism or counter criticism, the verbal use like “Mee edupedo meeru edavandi” does expose the ugly side of the war with growing irresistible opposition towards each other. As it appears, it is not the fight between Congress and the Mahakutami, it is going to be the fight between Congress and Ramoji Rao.
Time only will answer who will win in this murky battle. Let us watch in silence.

It is known news that the hottest thing right now is nothing but recession and almost all the industries and different professionals have been reeling under the high impact of this one. While most of them have become numb on this, the tough guys are busy trying to work out the brighter side of it.
Most of the Hyderabad based entrepreneurs are now saying that this phase will be on for about a year or year and a half and they have come up with an analysis. They say that if any business would withstand the pressure for the coming year then they would emerge as the successful ones.
It is more like the survival of the fittest and they say that during the recession, those who are weak will shut down their shops and those who are not competitive will fall by the way but those who can sustain these tough times will turn out to be the rulers as they find no big competitor aside once the recession period is over. This logic was derived by a group of entrepreneurs in a trivial talk of Hyderabad Management Association.

Sonia gets her 3rd film
After Happy Days and Vinayakudu, the dusky, hot and sexy Sonia has signed her third telugu film. Krishnudu of Vinayakudu fame and Notebook fame Rajiv who is also the son of music director Koti are doing the lead roles in this movie.
The yet to be named movie is being directed by Jonnalagadda Srinivas and is being produced by Arjuna Raju. The shooting of this film will start pretty soon.

Rajnikanth Robo shooting in Ramoji Film City
Rajnikanth, Aishwarya Rai starrer Robo shooting is going to start shortly in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. A very expensive and huge set is being erected in the studios inorder to shoot the title song of Robo. Art director Sabu Cyril is looking after the set erection process.
Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai will be joining the shooting shortly. The title song will be shot on the lead pair along with 1000 junior artists who will be wearing Robo costumes. Aishwarya Rai is currently busy shooting in Kolkotha for Mani Ratnam’s Ravana.

Rehman music for James Bond 23rd film
Oscar Award winner and music mastreo AR Rehman is all set to score music for James Bond next film. After the super success of Slumdog Millionaire and after winning 2 Oscar Awards AR Rehman is asked to score the music for James Bond next film.
If the above combination works and if AR Rehman scores the music for James Bond then he will be the first Indian to score music for James Bond film. This will be the 23rd film in James Bond series.

Billa release on March 27th
Prabhas as Billa is getting ready to hit the screens on March 27th. The shooting of this movie is complete except for 2 songs which will be shot very shortly. Director Meher Ramesh said that Prabhas who developed 8-pack body is going to look more smarter, sexier and handsome than his earlier movies. He also said that most of the movie is shot in never before shot areas of Malaysia. Meher also said that the entire film of Billa is shot very lavishly with Super 35mm camera.

Tamil Arundathi release on March 20th
Arundathi which is a blockbuster hit and which is creating records in telugu is now getting released in Tamil Nadu to create the same kind of sensation there. The tamil dubbed version of Arundathi is getting released in Tamil Nadu on 20th of this month.
Producer Shyam Prasad Reddy got the tamil dubbing done and is releasing the movie on his own in entire Tamil Nadu with very high number of prints. This shows the confidence and belief he has on his movie.
Arundathi will soon be re-made in Hindi also. Negotiations are going on and Shyam Prasad is trying to tie up with one of the Bollywood producer biggies to make Arundathi in Hindi.
