'Magadheera' Audio Disappointed Mass Audiences

It was with great hype and hoopla that the audio release of the film ‘Magadheera’ was looked out for and finally it took place in a grand manner recently. The audio has hit the stores too and reports have begun to flow in on the outcome of this.

It is heard that the songs of the film have not been able to impress the mass audience one bit and fans of Ramcharan Teja are said to be quite disappointed. They are heard saying that the album has got tracks which are mild and melody was there but no momentum was present.

This has come as a surprise since many thought that music director Keeravani would come up with something very impressive but that did not happen. Charan has been more of a mass hero so far so the album has let them down. Now a lot rests on the film itself to see if it can give a good feel to the songs visually.

Chiru applies for 'rising sun' symbol

So, it is going to be “rising sun” for Praja Rajyam Party as its election symbol.

PRP president Chiranjeevi has officially applied to the Election Commission of India for rising sun symbol. According to him, this symbol is more appealing and closer to the party’s philosophy and flag. So, this would catch the attention of voters very much.”We will insist on the rising sun symbol and I don’t think there would be any hurdle,” he said.

Alternatively, Chiranjeevi also applied for umbrella symbol, in case there are any objections from the EC on rising sun symbol which was already allocated to DMK in Tamil Nadu and many not be available as a free symbol. Now that PRP is a recognised political party, it can choose the symbol of its choice from the available ones!

Drink liquor, pay to Relief Fund

The Rajasekhara Reddy government seems to have come to the conclusion that the best way to get revenues to the exchequer is make people drink more and more; and pay more.

On Tuesday, the Chief Minister issued orders increasing the “trade margin” (an indirect increase in sales tax) on beer and IMFL from two per cent to nine per cent. The government is expected to get an additional revenue of Rs 300 crore from this little increase.

What is interesting is that the AP Beverages Corporation Limited, which does liquor trading, has announced that the additional revenue will go to the Chief Minsiter’s Relief Fund, so that people who die of consuming excess liquor can be given compensation! Good idea, isn’t it?

Jr NTR Kicked 'Magadheera' Audio Invitation?

It is no secret that the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli and young tiger junior NTR are thickest of friends. So it was obvious that junior got the invite for attending the audio release function of ‘Magadheera’ but then sources reveal that though Rajamouli invited, NTR rejected it.

Reports say that NTR was aware of the reactions his fans and his community folks would give if he had gone there so he wanted to draw the line there. On the lighter vein, there were those who commented that junior was busy watching Kantri movie in ZEE Telugu so maybe he had no time.

All said and done, the feelings of caste are being originated right from a venue where many of the common people would learn and consider it an integral part of their lives. So isn’t it about time the young brigade of stars cross all those barriers and start working as a team??

Can Prakash Raj quit smoking?

Talented actor Prakash Raj is never short of words when it comes to his personal life.

We all know his reel life competencies and he can always sit pretty.

But in real life, he has something to strongly contemplate.

Its smoking!

He’s a chain smoker and people even used to compare him to Bollywood hero Shah Rukh Khan in terms of smoking.

His addiction is now becoming a barrier to his films and he is unable to properly concentrate on film scripts and allied activities.

Recently, when he was shooting for Hindi film ‘Most Wanted’ (Telugu remake of Pokiri) in Bangkok with Salman Khan, it seems that the director and the crew did not like his behavior.

Oops!

Yup!

Let’s hope that his smoking does not ruin his reel life!

As many as three directors in Tollywood are looking to remake Bollywood film ‘new York’ – starring John Abrahams and Katrina Kaif.

The film was released amidst huge expectations and the talk is already pretty positive.

Telugu filmmakers meanwhile are gearing up for its remake and are vying for the remake rights

The significant aspect is that all are Assistant Directors who are fighting for this piece.

Amongst them is noted filmmaker Krishna Vamsi’s assistant director, one from Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s camp and another one from Ramgopal Varma camp.

Well! Let’s wait and see who bags the remake rights?

I think it will be Ram Gopal Varma’s camp, given his stardom in Hindi!

What do you say?

There was a time when she was rated as the hottest heroines in the southern circuit. True to her beauty, she has paired up with the likes of superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan etc. Later she paired up with yuvasamrat Nagarjuna and ended up being his partner for the rest of her life.

This is more of protecting the nature and Amala would be deciding the top three winners from the contestants. Waiting to see you Amala!!

Rail engine ditched us: Chiru

Why did Praja Rajyam Party lose the elections? Well, PRP president Chiranjeevi has the answer.

According to him, most of the voters wanted to vote for the PRP, but they could not locate the rail engine symbol on the Electronic Voting Machine. The symbol was very vague. So, they chose hand, which was clearly visible and identifiable. “This is the major reason. That is the reason why we want to change our election symbol. We are going to file an appeal before the Election Commission seeking the change in symbol,” he said.

Party sources said Chiru has proposed to ask for “umbrella” symbol for the next election, since it can be easily recognised by voters.

Silly excuse, isn’t it. It is nothing but doubting the wisdom of the voters. They clearly look for symbols while voting; and if they really want to vote for the PRP, they don’t find it difficult to locate the rail engine. Even if it is umbrella, people would not vote for the party, unless they want to. It is better Chiru learns this fundamental point.

Chiranjeevi To Tuitions For 'Assembly Classes'

Megastar Chiranjeevi seems to have a very filmy approach for everything he does. That is something he did even for his political career and while it has worked for him, it seems to have fired badly for his party members having looked at the recent election results.

Meanwhile, Chiru is all set to enter the assembly and it seems that he is quite excited over his new role as an MLA. In order to equip himself with the nuances of this new role, Chiru is said to be looking at going for tuitions for the assembly classes so that he makes his presence felt.

The assembly sessions are said to be beginning during the first week of June and Chiru is rather keen to observe the proceedings there and understand how resolutions are made and passed. In a way, this will be a debut for the megastar so let us see how he performs in this one.

Behind The Scene: 'Maa Allu bangaaram'

Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi seems to be completely under the charm of his brother-in-law Allu Aravind.

It is evident from the way Chiranjeevi does not want to entertain any criticism against Aravind and is not willing to listen to any comments. In the last three days of the party’s political affairs meeting, Chiranjeevi received hundreds of complaints against Aravind, but he brushed aside all the criticism.

“He is the backbone of the party. I know how much strain he had undergone in building the party. It is unfortunate that people are targeting Aravind for the party’s performance in the elections,” Chiru told media persons.

Well, NTR, too, used to say similar words against Chandrababu Naidu in the early days of the TDP government. But what happened is a history.
