Manda Krishna Madiga, chief of 'The Association fighting for the Rights of Physically Challenged', has warned that the association will continue the agitation till certain scenes that offend the physically challenged are removed from the film 'Gorintaku'.
Members belonging to the association started the agitation today, in front of the Censor Board Office, at Masab Tank, Hyderabad. Some of the members were arrested by the City Police when they tried to break in to the office of the Censor Board.
The Censor Board on their part has made it very clear that the producers of the film have been sent Orders asking them to immediately eliminate the scenes that offend the physically challenged.
A representative of the Censor Board Shobha Ranah, has asked for pardon on behalf of the Board, for having overlooked the sensitive points while censoring. She has also assured that such mistakes will not be repeated in the future.
