Congress has created a wave again. Washing out all sorts of opinions, Congress emerged as single largest party in the state. The magic figure to form government is 148 and Congress won an impressive 157. Although Mahakootami was formed to pillage Congress, nothing worked out at last.
The party that got huge sympathy in this election season is PRP that couldn’t get even a satisfied number of seats or the least possible. The only saving grace is that Chiranjeevi could win at least from one of his constituencies. Lok Satta has seen the triumph in the form of Jaya Prakash Narayan’s victory from Kukatpally. In fact nonce expected more than that for this party.
Earlier it was assumed that Congress needs the support of other independents or MIM to form government. Initially in the morning, even Congress leaders thought of negotiating terms with PRP if necessary. But at last, time and tide turned positive for Congress. Welfare schemes like Arogyasree, Abhaya Hastam, Old age pensions, Fee waiver for BCs and Indiramma Houses played vital role for the triumph of Congress on a whole.
The wave is bigger in center. BJP, the major opponent has declared its defeat officially. Now for another 5 years India will see Congress Raj again.
