Whatever happened to the rule of people only over 18 allowed to drink? City pubs have been seen opening doors to young boys and girls and serving them smilingly with alcoholic beverages. Well, its not about the over-18 crowd or the older pub patrons feeling much older with these school kids floating around, but the fact that no rule seems to be followed in pubs anymore. The smoking ban went up in smoke long back and now the entry rules too have been relaxed considerably. Possibly in recessionary time, any customer is precious for pub owners.
