Worst Phase In 2009 Tollywood So Far

Slated to be the next best industry after Bollywood, the Tollywood circuit has always been the best bet for many aspiring actors and they come up with big budget ventures. However, things have not been that bright in the Telugu camp as they have been ailing with a spate of successive flops.

So it was with a very positive anticipation that the entire camp was looking forward to this year as some promising films were in the pipeline. However, most of them have turned out to be duds at the box office and out of all the movies that have arrived; only ‘Arundhati’ has registered a thumping hit.

Though it has been three months since the year has passed, the graphs have not been that encouraging and the senior members of the industry are now keeping their fingers crossed to see how the summer season will fare since a horde of big budget movies are in the fray. Well about 20 films are in line for this summer.
