Telugu top star and Yuvasamrat Akkineni Nagarjuna is going to a break from films for one long year. He is not going to shoot nor sign any movie in 2009.
Nagarjuna latest movie King will be released in december and after that he is going to take a one year break. King which is being directed by Sreenu Vytla is still in shooting and will be released on December 19th 2008. Trisha is playing the lead heroine role.
According to our reporter Bannu, two reasons are being given for this one year break. The first reason is that Nagarjuna eldest son Naga Chaitanya is debuting as hero in 2009 and Nagarjuna want to monitor his son’s first movie. Naga Chaitanya first movie is being produced by Dil Raju and is being directed by a new person.
The second reason is that Nagarjuna want to change the shape of Annapoorna Studios and improve its standards. He want to make his studiosin par with other International studios in the World. He wants to give telugu cinema directors and producers a state of the art studio with all high-end facilities. The planning and designing needs time and Nag wants to spend quality time in the renovation of his studio without and shooting commitments. So this one year break.
