TD is in bad shape: Balaiah

Why did Nandamuri Balakrishna enter politics now? The answer was given by none other than Balakrishna himself at Yuvagarjana rally.

He said though he had been campaigning for the party occasionally right from its inception, he had decided to enter politics directly this time, because the party was in bad shape. "I could not tolerate the plight of the party and hence decided that I should do something to restore the party's glory," he said.

What does it mean? Balakrishna sent the signals to the party cadres and people that the party had lost its charm during the regime of Chandrababu Naidu and it was not in a position to take on the Congress. Therefore, Balakrishna feels he is the true heir of N T Rama Rao and hence, has the responsibility of bringing back glory to the party. Got the point, Naidu?
