Classic director Mani Ratnam and business man Anil Ambani of Reliance Entertainments are joining hands to make a movie in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu under Mani Sir direction. The deal is costing 120 crores for Anil Ambani which will be paid to Mani Rathnam in toto for the three versions.
If this deal materializes, then it will be the costliest deal ever made in the history of South Indian cinema. According to the reports, Mani Ratnam and Anil Ambani are in the final round of negotiations before finalizing the deal.
Mani Ratnam is casting Aishwarya Rai as heroine in all the three versions. Hindi version will have Abishek Bachchan as the hero and Govinda as the villan while Tamil and Telugu versions will have Vikram as hero. PC Sreeram will be the cinematographer and AR Rehman will be the music director.
