Making her way into the hearts of the Telugu audience with her sweet smile and sparkling eyes, Meena made a mark for herself right from her debut film 'Seetharamaiah Gari Manavaralu' as a teen star though she was also seen in child artist roles. Later, she had the onus of pairing up with almost all the top stars in Telugu and later the same magic spread to Tamil also.
After a while, her graphs dipped and slowly she found the exit door. But now, she is back and that too with a very ambitious and talked about project 'Kathanayakudu' which stars superstar Rajinikanth himself in a key role along with 'Manly Star' Jagapathi Babu.
It is being heard that her possibility of comeback was materialized due to the efforts of Rajini who had recommended Meena for the role of playing the wife of the protagonist. Their connection goes a long way back since Rajini had paired with Meena in the super hit film 'Muthu' and that is what propped the affinity for the superstar towards Meena.
