Manchu Vishnuvardhan and Ileana starrer Saleem had its official movie launch yesterday at Hotel Taj Deccan, Hyderabad. Dasari Narayana Rao clapped the clapboard, Akkineni Nagarjuna Switched on the camera and Raghavendra Rao directed the muhurat shot. Hero Prabhas gave the harathi and hero Kalyan Ram did the jyothi prajwalana. Mr and Mrs Mohan Babu handed over the bonded script to the unit members.
Vishnu and Ileana are doing the lead roles in Saleem and Mohan Babu is doing a negative role. YVS Chowdary is directing Saleem and Mohan Babu is producing it on Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Movies banner. Sandeep Chowta is providing the music and Chandra Bose is giving the lyrics. Gopi Mohan and Ravi are providing the story of Saleem.
Saleem is getting ready for a March 2009 release.
