Who briefed Chiru on SEZs?

Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi spoke eloquently about Special Economic Zones and their impact on the lives of common farmers, when he visited Polepalli village near Jadcherla in Mahbubnagar on Friday.

Chiranjeevi, who met farmers affected by Polepally SEZ, surprised everybody, when spoke on the subject as if he is an expert on SEZ issues. He wondered why the government was targeting lands of only poor farmers, whereas not a single politician was losing the land for the SEZ. He also pointed out that out of 256 SEZs in the country, more than 50 were only in Andhra Pradesh and wondered whether it was so essential to have an SEZ here. He demanded that the government tell how many industries were established since 2004 in the State.

Who gave him all this briefing? Well, sources say it was Narayana who explained every bit about SEZs to Chiranjeevi. He gave all the relevant material to the megastar on the subject and asked him to study. That is how, Chiranjeevi could go to Polepalli so confidently!
